Fine, 6 dB it is, then.
NOW, how many dB increased SPL capacity will the doubled-woofer, doubled-cabsize, parallel-wired variant enjoy in the subject low-frequency region?
I would think that the maximum power to each woofer is still the same as one by itself, so the only advantage would be the double cone area, which adds 3 dB. 6 if you use 4 woofers... (Would that be 2.25 way? 3 doing lows, one mids?)
I have a feeling the answer is in a link a few posts back. (Scurrying off to read said link...)
I ordered the stuff to E-Wave my old Advents. They have already been woofer-upgraded to the Peerless 830411, 8" 8ohm, that was recommended by Madisound at the time (~8yrs ago).
