Whither Karma16, AKA 'Sparky'?

Nothing on the net under his actual name indicating anything worrysome so far but still no responses. Am checking with one of his local colleagues later.

Still haven't managed to contact him, his not showing in this thread or the recent LAST thread is concerning.

Although I wish him the best health and long life, I can't say I'm sad to see him absent for a while. He's one of the reasons I stopped visiting this site.

Understood, some here-bouts found him intolerable but he did make some quite worthwhile contributions related to his high standards. While I could not possibly aspire to those standards in all respects we remained in cordial relations.
Nonetheless he is a member of this community until he decides otherwise or he joins the Choir Invisible, in which case he remains as Contributor Emeritus as per "sticky".

While he is knowledgeable, he often turned me off by being opinionated in an overly-agressive-in-your-face kind of way.

I don't know the guy at all, but everyone deserves full respect of his opinions; no matter if some like it or not.
And the way each one of us expresses himself is also deserving of our full respect and love.

How many times we've seen people get the boot because someone didn't like what they said or how they said it?

Anyway, I hope he is alive and well, and that the divine light will shine on everyone of us.

Never thought I'd have to say this in a thread where someone has posted concern about a member who seems to be gone, but, enough of the personal attacks. If you don't like a member who has contributed here fine, don't post in a thread about him, just move along.

This thread should be more about Sparky's contributions here at AudioKarma, more than his persona per se.
Yeah, that's what I like to learn about people; their beneficial contributions for the average forum's member and visitor.

And the OP asked the right question concerning his concern on his disappearance, suddenly. ...I'm the same when it comes to friends I missed.

Still no contact or call-backs, one phone is deactivated, the other was "busy" for a week and now goes to an answering machine with no pick-up. Calls to his local fellow audiophile colleague go to computer after no pick-up. Nothing shows re his recent situation under his actual name on the 'net.
That's what I know.
