2010-11 College Basketball

Duke won it last year and The Tarheels won it year before that. Heels lost their starters last year and sucked. Building this year and will be back next year. I really am surprised they are ranked in the top 25 this year.

But yeah, you are right, it would be great to have State back in the fold.
 
From the ACC....it looks like Duke, North Carolina, and Florida State will get bids.
Anyone else will probably have to win the ACC tournament outright to get in?

LOTS of heat on the selection committee this year...................

Could be. The Hokies losing twice to UVa doesn't bode well.
 
Wisconson wins by one point on a buzzer beater three at Michigan, Arkansas edges Kentucky at home, and K State is tied with Nebraska with 15 mins to go. Late season conference play is cutthroat everywhere. Ain't colleg hoops grand at this time of year?
 
Cincinnati knocks off Georgetown, too, just keeps getting better and better. You can't nap on anybody in the Big East

K State beat Nebraska as well, after the Huskers beat Texas last week, getting crazy in the Big 12 too
 
Finnbow's Marquette Warriors are flat outworking UConn in Storrs, and lead by 11 at the half. This is going to be a good one. Marquette has played hard all season and they have steadily improved. No way they will be passed over for the big dance, barring a collapse.

Marquette earned that one with hard work and perseverance. Well done.

As far as Saturday goes...hey nobody thought Buster Douglas stood a chance against Mike Tyson, so who knows. If VT has a big effort in them, Saturday would be a good time to see it.

Very nice, indeed. They cooked in overtime.

I think the Hokies have a chance. They have two of the best players in the ACC (Malcomb Delaney, Jeff Allen). They've killed a few giants in the past few years. Hopefully, they'll do it again Saturday.

and who will want to play the Johnnies at The Garden in the Big East tournament. I bet they dont even want the double bye that comes with a top 4 confecence ranking.

I've never seen a season in which the distance from 25th to 1st was so short. More so than ever before, this is anybodys year in the NCAA tournament, and there are some seriously good unranked mid majors who are, no doubt, licking their chops too

Can't help but wonder how far BYU will go without finding themselves in the scheduling hole of having to play on whichever day it is the SDA bunch can't work or have fun? I'ts Saturday or Sunday, don't recall which
