8 track to cassette adapter

Saw this at goodwill. Had to buy it for a buck. I'm 32 years old so it reminded me of the cd to cassette adapters. Thought it was neat and it even works.

I'd have bought that for a dollar! That appears to be one of the early ones that was driven by the capstan of the 8 track; later versions had a battery to drive the cassette, and perhaps a better transfer of signal from the cassette head to the 8T head.

Does anybody remember that Kraco's original product was floor mats?:yes:

Funny how perception changes over time. I would be very pleased to have that adaptor.

Back in the day, we called Krako, crapo or similar. Just scoffed at their offerings.
