Hi all, Im thinking of picking these up as Ive heard great things. I noticed the bottom right woofer is a different color. Does this mean it was replaced? Should I avoid? Any advice appreciated

It could be a correct replacement manufactured at a different time, it could just be a lighting issue with the picture, it could be a variety of different things. "At the right price," don't worry about it.

at the right price, get em if the drivers work. Easy enough to find a woofer if you have to.

Im trying to see if i can get them for 300. Would the 300-350$ range be considered right price?

I'd hesitate to pay $300-350 if they needed the Richard So treatment (however, I've been out of the game for awhile - maybe that's a screaming good deal these days).

Most any speakers that are 40 years old are going to need some sort of treatment be it Richard's or someone/something else. You won't find many "smoking deals" on ads speakers anymore. They are one too few and far between....unless they are rough. I bought a pair of ads L1230's for a screaming deal but they needed work....including grills re-solidified, painted, and recovered, plus I had Richard redo the mids and tweeters while there were replacement domes available. I had 2 drivers bad to start with.

While the color is darker, it seems to be an oem driver. That's a good deal for them I feel. Nice sounding speakers but with a slight hump in the bass. Best to stay away from corner placement. Get them up on a stand with a slight tilt back and pulled away from the wall.

@thebigbeat90, have you listened to them yet? If so, what do you think?

I love ADS (and Braun) speakers. I have to confess though that the ADS L810 is one of the few that I've owned that I had a hard time getting used to for whatever reason (mid-bass hump I suppose). I have a set of Braun L810s and they sound a bit better than the ADS version to me for whatever reason. Then again, you don't have to look too hard to find folks who absolutely love the ADS L810.

If you're on the fence at all, I humbly suggest holding out for a set of L710 or L880. They're more balanced and are safer bets (in my opinion) in this price range.

I have not listened to them and am honestly on the fence about getting them for two reasons. First, the condition is a little iffy. Corners are damaged and in other pics show signs of heavy use. The owner got them from an estate and have no idea of how many hands they've been through. Im also unsure of how much of a difference it'll make from my current speakers, Pioneer CS-500g. I actually like these speakers, but im always intrigued by an upgrade. Im just unsure how much of an upgrade it would be.

After doing some more research, i think im gonna go this route and wait for a pair of L710

In addition to the ADS L710, consider adding the Braun L710 and L715 to your search (especially if you live in or near Canada...or are traveling to Germany for Oktoberfest this year).
