See photos for what seems to be an OLA cabinet retrofitted with Norman Lab components? Intriguing. Just wanted to share this strangeness with the other enthusiasts!

From what I can tell from the pictures the woofers don't seem to match. Besides the different dust caps, the rolls on the surrounds look different to me. Not sure about Norman Labs tweeters, but those look a lot like Phillips tweeters. It may be possible they used Phillips tweeters in some of their models. If they have Advent crossovers I'm not sure they would work well.

Yeah so Norman Labs used Phillips tweeters in the majority of their models over the years. The tweeters look like they're from their "b" line of single-digit models (8,9,10,11, etc.) from the early 80's. The woofers don't look like many Norman's that I've seen around, but one looks branded with the logo, which I've also not seen before. My guess is that someone had a set of late-model Norman's with damaged cabs and some OLA's with damaged drivers and just decided to mush them together haha. Either that or we've got a mad scientist on our hands.
