AI 'Noose' Tightening?

I wonder whether the AI financing debt bubble would survive a repeat of the worldwide Covid type disruptions and price hikes?

If accountants and regulators can strip out all of the circular financing, we might get a look at how much AI product outside customers are purchasing. If enough outside customers are clamoring for AI product, there would be no need for circular financing.
Incest.

Anybody remember how Y2K ended the world, lots of experts predicted it and they were right:rflmao:
I was in the tech industry at that time (still am). The concerns about what would happen when the clocks turned over had more to do with the fact that no matter how exhausively you test (and there was a LOT of testing), there may exist some scenario that you failed to see.

I don't recall anybody who actually knew what they were talking about saying it was the end of the world, though...

At zero hour of Y2K I was on a plane flying to Ecuador for a holiday. At the strike of midnight the engines flamed out and we all died.

I find the(worldwide) predeliction to intrude into databases that are off limits to be revealing. Pronounced accidental and unsought by AI's developers but recurring mightily. Kind of like where corporations get caught double charging and billing after unsubscribing, charging dead people etc. All professed to be unintentional but the 'misstep' always put the corporation at an advantage. Never to their disadvantage. Monetary advantage when it is a overcharge situation. Access to off limits databases when it is AI.

I know that if I was caught intruding into US Federal off limts databases, I'd face court and possible or actual incarceration. AI just gets a wave of the hand "Oh it is a quirk. No-one knew" or "It does things we can't anticipate". Funny how intruding into a government database is a very particular action which would never be simple or straightforward. In the process stealing the central store of most confidential exclusive information.

Yeah. It's just an accident. :smoke:
