They look like "B" variants, so they should (AFAIK) be 8 ohm.
Depends on what you intend on powering them with, IMO.
Valencias tend not to sound that great with SS, IME, whereas the 9849's might fare a bit better.

If 2X < FMV of 846B/U then the 9849's are a bargain.
If price/value was based purely on sound quality/performance, the marketing public has these two particular speaker systems valued backwards. Take advantage while that's still the case.
Eventually, folks will use their ears and realize that while a Valencia might trump 9849 in half an octave of bass extension, the 9849 is superior in every other sonic aspect.

... and the Valencia is rather limited in terms of LF extension...just bear that in mind (for the OP's benefit).

Size of listening space is also an important consideration.
9849 was designed with the dimensions of the average studio control room in mind. They're not in their ideal environment in larger spaces.
The Valencia will probably better fill a larger room, it's horn likely provides more uniform coverage in a larger space, and it's larger cone area and higher sensitivity also lend to a larger area of uniform coverage across their BW.
Over the course of a few years 9849's have become my daily drivers(in a near field setup) leaving little urge to modify or "upgrade". I was fortunate to find a pair of the "8D" version in Oak furniture grade cabinets with a sweet driver load of 23746 compression drivers with 23744 "light" diaphragms, and 414-8C woofers, both of which use 1 piece cast steel magnetic return structures in their motors, IMO, a premium load.
The actual driver load of 9849's varies across their production span, and IMO, this(should) affect their value to some degree.
