Yep, it looks like 802-8G.

I didn't realize they came with the flatter caps. They're probably 1990s models.

Mine have these 515-8Gs in them.

If original to the box, i think the woofers are more likely to be 803A. But there's only one way to know for sure. If they turn out to be 515's then the crossovers are probably N-500's. Either way is a really nice find.

Small format alnico drivers from about 1975 thru ~1980/81 had those back covers. After that, because of the cobalt shortage, Altec only produced 900 series ferrite small format drivers, same covers.

515 seems to be an early version, with paper rolled surrounds and not the pleated ones I see on most. And they have a textures paint on them.

515B should have a large vented dustcap and a sticky accordian surround, not the one piece cone with paper hinge as used on 515's and 803A's.

Not saying it's not possible, but a 515B with a split rim and krinkle paint is a fairly uncommon bird.

After looking again, looks like you have a mixture of 515's, that 515B sticker appears to be on smooth paint. I'd wager it has an accordian edge cone and one piece basket as well.

515B should look like this, with a one piece basket, accordian edge, large vent.

If so, then you have at least one 515B that was re-coned with old style 515/803A cone.

Whew! i was starting to get worried because you were not describing what i see in the pics you posted.

If you have a one piece cone with a paper hinge, and a 515B sticker on the same woofer, somebody has re-coned it with that cone. One of the reasons for the "B" revision was specifically to get away from that cone. A shame because they sound so good, until the hinge eventually fails like you see in the loose one you posted pics of.
