Altec Speakers

Hey I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the altec Capri 887a speakers I found at an estate sale for $40. Currently I'm using klipsch Kg-2's. I'm a Novice speaker person as well. Should I grab the Altecs or stick with klipsch?

Find different Altecs. 887 is entry level/BOTL, and would be a lateral move from KG2 at best.

Agreed. Just pick them up and hold on to them! Let your ears decide!

40.00 is too much for 887s, IMO.

Adding additional .02 here. Keep an eye out for a pair of KG4's. I owned both the 2's and 4's and it was my introduction into the klipsch line.
