Been a 4 month wait - Will get my Krell KSA150 today

Krell do hold great value.. As for heat they are all warm. NO my old FPB30cx was a heater. It ran so hot you could fry eggs on it..

I enjoyed it

Too much amp for my current situation. Too hot to run in the summer months and I never really cranked it up for a full listening session

Person who bought it will crank it and not worry about the heat for he has a much larger listening room

Also , I got 'my price' for it

Interesting about the heat in the summer months.I've never had a big power amp so I have a hard time relating to an amp being so hot that summer heat can have a bearing on it.I can though relate to an amp being larger than one needs for listening purposes.Thanks.

Enjoy this favorite of mine of the Krell amplifiers for the sure Krell of it. It makes music and heats your house.

You don't need to push it for it to get hot... This one would idle Hot

Class A for sure

My neighbor has one. It runs very hot. Easily heats a room.

Just turn the AC for a while to cool the room before listening.
