Oh, I agree w/you 100% on that. I see kids acting nowadays that would have gotten my old man's size 12-wides planted FAR up my Heinie...And all the kid gets is a whiny "Settle Down"....

Some of my friends kids “frended” me on facebook while on their initial friend collecting spree, then later “unfriended” their parents.

Now I rarely post anything and they have pretty much forgotten about me. I don’t care about things like how much they like or hate their boyfriend / girlfriend on a day to day basis, or posting silly pics, or profanity. But I do alert their parents if anything truly concerning or dangerous comes up. I have only had to do it once so far.

So in the end, she’s fine. My Facebook wall will never be the same again, and we’ll be OK as a family and she’ll grow up happy, healthy, and have everything she needs, but not everything she wants. And I absolutely guarantee she’ll never doubt my resolve to follow-through on a consequence again.

Maybe if Papa had used better judgement in his life, the girl would have two parents instead of three.

He needs to stop patting himself on the back, and turn some of that energy into raising his daughter.
