Boston Acoustics

Any opinions on the Boston Acoustics? I like the look..... Or other non-ported speaker with "crispness"?

A series seem to be nice. I have a pair of A40's that I bought cheap but need a tweet and refoam. From all the research on them they seem to be nice warm speakers

Ditto on the A series...I have the A70's and they have that great NE 2 way sound and are not to pricey.....

I love them as much as I do my Polks. I like the crispness of the Polks a little better.

I bought the Boston Acoustics Subsat Six satellite/woofer system in 1987 for $600. Amazing speakers. Properly powered, they will fill a fairly large room. Very smooth, great treble. I bi-wired them. For a while, I used them in conjunction with a BA center and two more satellites in a digital surround setup with an Outlaw 1050 receiver. Real nice.

Currently, I'm not using them, but I will pull them out soon and find a use. I'm sort of up to my ears in speakers right now. My main system speakers are JMLab Chorus 714S's, which are incredible.

I have a single A60 and expect a second one any day now. I have the single hooked to the CR-1020 I just restored and I like the sound, but will be a better test when its mate arrives so I can swap it with the little KLH.
