CL mega score! Infinity kappa 8.1, SSW-210 sub & kappa center speaker

How about this for a score? The kappa 8.1's sound very good. Have not played with the sub or center speaker yet.

nice :thmbsp:. the center is really nice sounding as well. I have a semi-similar crescendo system for my front mains along with that center in my home theater system. A difference in the cabinet and an IMG mid vs the Poly I like the look of the sub though it doesn't seem to have much cabinet volume for thos two woofer - is it passive or powered?

Heres a comparo shot of mine. Stuff in my listening room rolls in and out all the time but this setup remains pretty constant

Given unlimited money I'm sure there's better out there, but that's one hell of a good home theater system. Enjoy it. With me there's always the temptation to sell but with mine I've just never had the urge as it does so well for it's purpose. I had 3006 rears as well, but when we moved into our space downstairs they were too big to mount on the wall so i bastardized some smaller Infinity RS's and took out the tweeters and installed the Emit-R's from the 3006's as they had the same crossover points

I have the same infinity kappa video center... actually, I have two now, and I'm looking for a third. Mine are black, though. Very nice center channel. You'll love it!

If working properly those subs can bring some good money...how does it sound? I'm told they are very good but never had the pleasure of hearing one.

Hooked it up to watch a movie last night. Works and sound good. Also used the center channel.
