Believe it or not-you could plug this into any system, with awesome results.
A total over achiever.
You would be hard pressed to find a better phono preamp-especially these day's with under achieving outboard units at mega prices.

Dave, I see you've got KEF R107's. I had a friend in the 80's whose was Peter (can't remember his last name but he was British) and he did reviews for audio magazines. In 1986 we (my wife and I who was a coworker of his wife) were visiting at their home and he had those KEFs in house for review. They are probably the most accurate and faithful reproducers I've ever heard.

Hi. Yes, the R107's are very accurate, but also very musical. They reproduce all frequencies extremely well. I've had them for about 4 years now and I've had them completely refurbished by a very knowledgable and experienced local speaker guy. They're really even better than they were when new, as per his past experiences with R107's. I think I'll have the darn things forever.

I also have some Polks that he made some custom crossovers for (two boards for each speaker), and they sound way better than they should for the price, but they aren't even close to the R107's.

But I'd still love to hear those Ohm Walsh 4's sometime.

Dave, the invite stands. Both speakers are musical but the presentation is quite different. For musical analysis I believe the KEFs would win hands down. The Ohm's being semi omnidirectional present a less formal environment to them; best described as laying on the sofa and let the music engulf you, which is exactly how I listen to them.
 
Hey, thanks so much, UncleAng. I'd love to come up and meet you and hear the Ohm's. I'll have to wait a bit till this Covid thing gets sorted somewhat, but I'll make a note of your member name in my phone and PM you when it's cool.
One doesn't often get the opportunity to hear some different speakers in a home setup, so I'm looking forward to it. And, btw, I also listen to my music from very casual positions. I don't have a listening chair. Many times, I'm making a curry or something, for dinner.
