Death cap

I'm trying to source a Y class .01uF EMI suppression cap to replace the 'death cap' in my brother's Fisher 400. Is there a particular one or a manufacturer any of you would recommend?

I used:

Murata Ceramic Class X1 Y2 0.01uF from Mousies.

Oh yeah: the 125 C one, ends in MN7A; a whopping 67 cents!!

The price is certainly right! Does class X1 Y2 mean I can use it in both across-the-line and line-to-ground applications?

yes, works fine in both applications. I'm not sure who makes the ones I get, but they're the inexpensive ones from Digikey. Somewhere around 65 cents per sounds right.
