Denon DP80 & DP75 Owner's Thread

I don't want to toot horns or anything so please don't take it like that.

I ended up picking up the DP-80 and the DK-300 for $130 USD. Shipping was $200 but that's mostly because I think it weighs around 50 pounds all said. Comparing that to eBay prices, I was told I got a good deal, but maybe not.

At any rate I'm happy with it.

I was told it works well, I'll probably just have it serviced and maybe have the capacitors replaced and call it good. I'll find out soon .

Yes, I've purchased a 200w one already. I think that should suffice.

Judging by the original color you must have the DK-2000G plinth. What are the arms, they look like Denons.

I didn't know that, I thought all plinths came in one color based on this

Similar for me although it's still a work in progress. I have DA-402 & DA-50 to go on the DK-2300 plinth.

Very nice MX, veneer is beyond my skillset.

Mine, as well. Fortunately, I have a couple of woodworker friends. Headshell/cartridge storage boxes are next. I'll do the design and leave real work to "those that can".

The DK-100G & DK-2000G were the maple like color. The DK-300 & DK-2300 were the darker rosewood.
