Mighty fine table. Are you glad you went back for it?
Thank you very much for your input!
I'm going to give it another look and ask the seller to play it.
I know him and have bought from him before.
Gary, Dual put que levers on their later 1009 versions. I have a 1009SK2 & it has a queing lever & anti-skate.Have a 1009, works fine. Only thing, no cue lever. That put that on the 1019. Have 2 1019's and nether functions.
That's what's cool about the ELAC tables with the screw built into the shell to adjust overhang. Neat idea.I've been using a 1009 for a little while with a Shure M55 and a Jico SAS stylus. Thinking about applying some damping fluid to arm lift rod to slow the arm's decent a bit in automatic mode...has anyone tried that? Also I threw my GeoDisc on to check the overhang and the stylus sits back about 1/4" too far. These headshells have pre-drilled holes for cartridge mounting and are not adjustable. Thinking about modifying my extra headshell in order to get the overhang right. Has anyone experimented with that?
