Dual 1229 keeps repeating

Dual 1229 keeps repeating last record om the stack. is this a stacker spindle problem?

Do you have a single spindle to test it with? Or just try with no spindle as the single doesn't engage with anything inside.

I think it's more likely elsewhere in the mechanism but do this test first.

I tried with the single spindle. it behaves normally. shuts off when record is done.

Found one and it’s not working. Will look for another. Thought I had two.

It is rare for the spindle to go bad. But very common for any of several pivot points to stick from hardened grease.
