Fair price for Marantz 2385?

[Tucker99]

You AK'rs who are way familiar with matters Marantz...how highly rated is the 2385 and what is a fair market value?
Other than the wattage...are the 22xx and 23xx series all the same inside??
Thanks

they are not all the same inside. Tuner, amp and PS all vary depending on the model.

I would say fair market value is what ever your are willing to pay for one in good shape. They can go anywhere from 200-800 dollars depending on who is bidding.

wattage is the last two numbers in the 22XX series. The 3 means 100 watts in the 23XX series. So a 2385 is rated at 185 watts per. A 2230 has 30 watts per. Jim. I'd say around 500.00.
