Frog Stand Poll

I think the frog stand is the furniture eqivalent of a B movie. So horrifically tacky-tacky-tacky that it deserves a special place in your home. Someplace where it can be seen by everyone who visits to remind them that somewhere, somebody got a bad batch of 'shrooms. When they woke up, there was froggy. 
Seriously, it looks like an interesting piece of folk art. The twins from Antique Roadshow think folk art is big these days. Quite valuable too. Ebay ol froggy for some princely sum and maybe your wife won't question the next piece of gear you haul home.
If that fails, get a prince to kiss it and maybe it'll turn into a Pioneer SX-1980!
As for equipment racks, get yourself a nice tall metrorack at Menards or Home Despot. Mine holds my listening system, a 32" TV and my PC. I think I'm at about 35% of max rated load (or SOA if you prefer...) since each shelf can hold at least 200lbs.
