G8000 with no sound

Ok, believe the pin 14 on F2814 is the wire with the huge KOA-T resistor that goes to the bank of 4 main filter Caps.
It reads 0.0vdc on both boards when powered on, spk on, aux selected.

ok apart from very little if any bias current it should produce some sound as long as there isnt other problems in both channels .
set your meter on AC volts and clip onto pin 14 f-2814 and ground the other probe . play some music and see if the volts go up and down with the music .

As I can't tell which board is left or right did to they have same markings.
I believe to be the left, on/off switch side,
measures +.5mv
right measures -81.5mv

Set to aux, vol down

now for fun set meter to AC volts again and put probes into each channels speaker terminals .one at a time of course and play some music again .
just noticed it has power meters .are these working ?

The right channel is very active, doesn't take much volume up to get them readings into the hundreds.

Left channel has almost no movement.
Have to put volume almost half way up to see only single digit movement.

No meter movement on either channel.

The right channel only produces a faint distorted sound with the volume up about half way on any source.
Apk A or B

have to hold my hands up . its looking like RLO3 .. or perhaps not .. does it click on and off with speaker switch ?
