They appear to be Genesis 1. Great find. You have a piece of audio history, aside from a great speaker. Human will take care of you, check their site to contact them.

Got the tweeters yesterday, installed them last night and put on some vintage RTR recordings I did back in the early 70's. The system I was using is an Akai 270DSS, vintage RTR recordings from the 70's, the Genesis speakers and a Pioneer SX-650 receiver. It was like a time warp back to the 70's.Very nice sounding set up. I was expecting a radio news flash about the latest Apollo moon landing. Thanks for all the help guys!!:thmbsp:
Years ago my first high quality set up was a dra 75 denon reciever, and a pair of genisis green surround 2 way speakers, when i went to look at the system my friend had it for sale i said the speakers don't look like much, was i wrong, for a 2 way design they did everything fairly well, i was sold. I just found this site this week[4-13-10]. while looking for an obsolete nad volume control nad # 41-688-0-0 which i still havn't found, this is the first time i have heard others talk about genisis speakers, awesome
I had my first speaker purchase narrowed to a new set of Genesis II or my neighbor's used Jensen OPC 24's. I ended up buying the 24's as they were $100 cheaper being used. While I still have the 24's and still use them (refoamed), I always regretted not getting the Genesis. I believe they had a warmer sound than the Jensens.
At least 3 uses of the word. The classic EPI/Genesis, or Genesis Physics. I got a set as a kid and they proved to me conclusively that I was wasting my time trying to make B*se sound good. I'll always be grateful! :thmbsp:
Two, there are a lot of White Van Scam speakers with similar-spelling names. Avoid them like the plague because, well, they are the plague.
Three, A. Nudel (co-founder of Infinity) started a company using that name. I would only avoid those if I could afford them...
The tweeters should not be difficult to dismantle and the vc repaired. The vc was nothing special, off the shelf but I can not remember the source an longer. The assemblers would put them through a final QC and about 5% would fail so they were dismantled and the parts reused. The masonite version is not easily disassembled. The 1 most of the time had a green surround but we sourced to 3 suppliers and 1 did not supply us with green.
The firm started by Arnie Nudel is Genesis Advanced Technolgies. It is owned and operated by Pacific Northwest Audio Society member Gary L. Koh, with the main facility located in Seattle.
