Great video and thread. I'd seen this bird in action several times in the late 70's -> early 80's at the annual Point Mugu Airshows.

About 1.5 years ago I went for a visit to the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, KS. They have this beauty on display there.

Wow... first time seeing/hearing the complete video! Just fascinating and incredible.

I got to see a Habu take off at Kadena back in the late 70s. Incredible sight forever etched into my mind.

What always amazed me was that in the incredibly brief timespan of 20 years, our technology leaped from propellor-driven aircraft to (supposedly) sending men to the moon and back. Could we have accomplished this without outside help ?

To many inconsistencies thru time, I believe things are not what they seem. I cannot personally prove anything, so I just let it be. I do know what my purpose is, (always have) and I am good with it.

Apparently, yes. Radio receivers matured to AVC Superhet in 13 years from the beginning of broadcasting and single triode regenerative receivers, with rapid advances in vacuum tube technology.
