Harman Kardon 330 very dirty! Suggestion?

attached is a picture of the hi 330 I just picked up really cheap Any thoughts on the safest way to clean this mess inside up?

there are also a couple threads on washing down the insides using various combinations. Read each thread thru front to back before proceeding.
After doing it once and seeing the end result AND the unit still plays makes it easier the next time.
 
I'd start with a dry paint brush, perhaps a hair dryer or any way to blow air. When too sticky, I use isopropyl alcohol with a brush too, and rinse with more alcohol.

A small brush with hard and short bristles is useful to scrap some places, or in between resistors and components.

I like a couple of cheap artist's brushes and a vacuum to remove the dust stirred up. It takes some time, but it is a clean and thorough process, and it lets you get up under things and in corners where air flow stagnates. It goes relatively quickly.
