Mine is a Realistic STA-2300. 120 Watts x 2.

Use to have a Marantz 2385 but believe it or not I preferred the Realistic

I believe it. Much of the Realistic stuff of that era was very well made and relatively simple which makes for good sound if not fodder for spec bragging.

I too have an SA-828 and like you, I don’t care for the motorized volume either. Other than that it is an awesome sounding brute.
