Is humanity doomed?

Especially if its on a square plate.

TBH, the fries are good. They are freshly peeled, cut, and cooked. The secret really is in the salt. It's the same fine ground salt that McDonald's serves. That stuff really pops and covers the palette with salty goodness.

OK, so now we've apparently replaced covid with fast food as the catalyst for our imminent demise as a species ...

Well, hell ... I've been saying that for years! ;-}

I think even you will admit, its a much more pleasant demise.. :beerchug:

:boring:

I am 6’3” 230#, work hard for a living and eat half the portions that my co-workers do “that won’t fill me up” ... “dude your 5’9 and weight more than me, it fills me up?”
That was at lunch Wednesday.

I miss when a big bugger was the qtr pounder.

“WTF do you need a 1/2# hamburger for :dunno:“

Rant over...

I'm 6' , a bit over 200 lbs.. at 57 years old, I can't eat the way I use to.. my family members hated me for that.. I was a glutton, but you could never tell by looking at me.. I especially cant do sweets anymore, they make me feel ill.. even more strange, I sweat, even in winter weather, but cant drink water.. even one bottle fills me up.. when I cook dinner for family, I am always the last to eat, and only because everyone chastises me.. I love em.. :)

Being an Ohio boy I bang out the White Castles when I go home. You hit an older family franchise .

When I was a kid, minimum was a dozen at one pop every weekend and often more :smoke::smoke:

Edit: now fast food is a normal meal, so instead of my day on the weekend it happens 3x a week, the other 2 or 3 days is more fast food... WTF

since about 35ish I can roll in get 4, some rings a unsweetened tea and I am good

I get these at wallly world, not the same, I know, but throw a two pack in the microwave for a minute add a bag of chips , and I make it thru the day..

I agree. Even newer frachises are not the same as many of the old ones around C-Bus. Could be conformation bias ;). You would think they all get the same supplies :dunno:

Well, fast food may not be the healthiest meal available, but for the relatively low cost, it is way better and cheaper than what many people on this planet eat each day. Even if you make minimum wage, a half hour’s worth of work can buy you a fast food meal. How many people must work for several hours for a single meal? I think there are many possible doom and gloom scenarios, but none involve a clown selling hamburgers.

^^^ see the food industries programming since the end of WWII has worked ;)

Definitely, seeing people are waiting in line 14 hours and fighting over burgers when there's more than one joint to buy from. Like that Popeyes sandwich a while back, must be subliminal ads. "You must buy me now" .

I might wait that long for a McRib sandwich ...

A clown selling hamburgers... that's funny.
