JBL D130 Woofer

I picked this up at the flea today because it had JBL on the back panel. Looked like at least a 15" woofer. Opened it up, sprayed the roaches and this is what I found, A JBL D130 woofer and a N2400 crossover. Too bad he did not have 2.

Wonder what happened to the 075 ring radiator? Where do the HF wires from the crossover go?

I believe Matching period correct horn would have been a DLH 175 potatoe masher horn with this woofer.
I once owned a cabinet with the 130a 15 inch jbl woofer{still have needs a recone} and the dlh 175 horn

No, they were produced at the same time. The D130 with the aluminum dome gets the 075 and the 130A with the paper dome gets the LE175. A 130A is not the same as a D130 with a different cone. The basket is physially different (1/16" deeper with 1# more weight in the magnetic assembly).

Also, the D130 can be reconed as a whole bunch of different models (e.g., D130, 2205, 2235) but because the 130A is 1/16" deeper, it only takes the 130A (or pro equivelent) cone or you create a "Frankenwoofer."

I sometimes regret selling the dlh horn/cabinet and just holding an waiting for another to appear.My speaker{mono} came with a 1954 Fisher cabinet with my 1st Fisher 50a mono amp and rt70 pre/ tuner...was my score of a lifetime for me..
