Just picked up a Lab-420 Realistic TT

Anyone know if this is any good? A LAB-420 Realistic turntable. Who made it for them?? I paid $35 for it....

Any comments welcome....

wowwww, dooooood. a 420..... get out the Pink Floyd....

Looks like an ok table...not sure who would have made it, it looks fairly typical of a direct drive auto TT from the mid to late 70's. $35 isn't too bad of a price, either.

Not this one, though I know what you mean. This one has more of a Hitachi or Pioneer feel to it.

Guess what, that table was made by the same company that was making the tables for MARANTZ, Quadraflex, and even ROTEL. It's a decent table!!!

I beleive you're correct on CEC.

I know it cracks me up to see people pay over $300 for a used marantz 6300 when the LAB-400 was basicaly the same table.... All because it says MARANTZ.
