realistic turntable

Indeed -- that's what I kept reading before I ran across it :) I didn't realize the RS cartridge was worth a darn. Now to educate myself on N75 / N91 styluses... several very promising choices available...

Well, it was made by Shure, so when i got mine, i figured it was worth at least a darn. lol

... if not two or three darns. :D The funny thing is I stared at that cartridge and thought... gosh, that sure (ahem :D) does remind me of a hi-track... never occurred to me that it actually *was* a Shure.

Anyway, for the arms on these Realistics, which is the better match, M91 or M75?

Related to that question, is the deck worthy of the SAS stylus?

No pun intended huh? lol. But, yeah id have to agree with Howard. Im actually using a cheap stylus on my Shure, and it still sounds pretty good. And, id also say that this deck is worth every dime you throw at it. It can be a damn good turntable if it has the right cartridge.

Realistic made some really great sounding tables that are workhorses , i have had a lab-400 & currently i'm running the 395 which sounds great after i reaplced the wires & cleaned it up a bit & put a new catridge on it ...... runs & sounds great !:music:

I've got a Lab 2100 linear tracker that's my primary 'table at the moment, and it is a *great* sounding 'table.
