It was a Canada only model, so might not be easy to find.
I like my LAB 500. I've had 2 and this one eventually got a good lid.
Remind me a lot of the Mitsubishi/Diatone DP-86DA. :scratch2:

What's interesting there is the single play/repeat knob has a third label as "free play"
The lab 500 only has single and repeat... But just tonight fiddling with my 500 I noticed the knob does have a third position... All the way towards the tonearm seems to cause the platter to spin while the tonearm is at rest.
I'd say they are indeed identical/sisters Learn something new

Similar looking to the Marantz 6300 (made by CEC I think). Maybe this one was a CEC as well.

Here pictures of my Realistic Lab 400 which i got off eBay for $160 shipped to my door it in ex++to near mint condition.I be wet sanding top down and buff out to new
It looks in the second pic that you posted that it has the same sticker as my lab440. My sticker says "walnut grained VINYL veneer". If yours says the same, I'd be careful about wet sanding it. I'm not sure how a vinyl veneer will hold up to that. Not trying to be a jerk, just wouldn't want you to make a mistake with that nice table. Cheers, Mike
