The LAB 500 is a very, very nice table. I wish I had never sold mine. One of my bigger audio regrets. I thought I just wasn't that into vinyl. Boy was I wrong. :D

probably one of these two:

Sorry to here that .If we all only knew better in old day we all be happy today. So we all live and learn the hard way.I been there

I absolutely love my 400, use it nearly every day. The only issue I have is that the tone arm drops faster than I'd like, but I just lower it manually, so not really a big deal. It came to me free from a friend.

The linear tracking Lab-2100 (0.025% wow and flutter, -75dB rumble, DD) was pretty good, and had the best specifications of any they sold.

had a 420 and it was OK, Noisy mechanics as its all plastic cam driven but sounded OK. sold it as I had to many ! No regrets as I have better

I've recently gotten back into listening to music, vinyl primarily. I don't have a ton of experience with turntables so I didn't know what to expect from the Lab440 I picked up. Man, I couldn't be happier. You don't have to be an expert to realize it's a really nice piece of gear. I put a new Ortofon Omega cartridge on mine because the original had a bad channel and I didn't want to spend a ton on an untested table. This setup sounds just fine IMO, and it tracks perfectly when setup with the Stevenson protractor. Every time I see or get to use a friend or relative's table, it makes me see it even more.

My vote is for the Lab-500 With the LAB-400 close behind. I own both.
