Which is best ReaLisTic TT made

It's still quite overpriced. It's a competent but basic belt drive turntable which came with a motor and dustcover etc anyway so those don't add much.

The best Realistic turntable is the CEC built LAB-300. It's belt drive so has less rumble that everyone's favorite LAB-400, a direct drive made by Toshiba. The 300 also uses a better tonearm. The Mitsubishi built LAB-500 and it's plastic gears.....you can have it.

I have both a LAB-300 and LAB-400. I like both of them a lot, but give a slight edge to the 300. That said, I haven't played around much with different cartridges.

I also have a 300 and a 400.

The 300 has a much better arm and in my experience swapping the same headshell and cart back and forth I find the 300 to be the clear winner.

The 300 tonearm is also just plain sexy!

Today I swapped in a M95ED High Track cart. It sounds great but I have a problem with the antiskate…..I’ve got it set up so the arm doesn’t need it….but I like the look of the antiskate on the 300.

Stupid perfectly balanced tonearm.
