.....The Duffinator....what a Guy, what a Guy....the SVS B-4's only came unpowered to not cut into the box air-space tuning.....

.....Rick, I'm running low seperates, with two 15 inch MTX-Audio subwoofers in sealed boxes in the front soundstage, pushed by a Crown K2 non-strapped in stereo, giving 800 watts at 4 times 2, tastefully volumed, covering the band from 120 hz to 80 hz....under the 15 inch low seperates, top-cut at 80 hz, come three SVS mini-barns being pushed by three channels of an Earthquake Cinnenova 5, also tastefully volumed.....

.....six full-range speakers, four floor-standers up front, and two 52 pound bookshelves from the surround positions, are low-cut at 120 hz and are being pushed by McIntosh....all the clean cuts are being accomplished by two Paradigm X-30 active crossovers, with everything being plugged into a Richard Gray Power Company 1200 for 12,000 watts to draw from with a noise-floor reduction of 40 decibels from the chokes....real sweet system if I do say so....it has been my thinking for awhile to go for the audio first, and the video will pretty much take care of itself....has worked out pretty well so far....I also learned to not strap amp channels to stay with "the natural" sound quality, not employing thick, boomy, or raspy ohmage effects.....

Saw it down here. Was at 7.30pm or so. I was out in the backyard cooking a bbq and had a wine as I watched. It wasn't overly interesting, I must be getting old. Things seemed so much more exciting when i was a kid.
