Nice pictures. Believe it or not we had a cloudless evening up here in the northwest and, during the last leg of my evening commute/thrift store rounds, about 6:45 I had a great view to the east of the beginning lunar eclipse. Also saw it from my living room window just above the trees. (scored a nice pair of 3-way Celestion speakers).

It was clear as a bell here last night so my wife and I watched from the deck. It was beautiful and I think the -20C temp just added to the experience.

Great photos, Mike. Your view in Winder was a bit better than ours, but we were also able to pick out Saturn and Regulus, which show up in your photos.

Thanks guy, I can only imagine what it looked like through a telescope.

I have a couple of really nice pics of saturt and regulus with the moon in some other pics. I will have to finish going through them tonight.

Great pictures. Thanks for posting them.
It was a little hazy here with spotty clouds covering the moon. That along with the city lights of the LA basin prevented a good view of saturn and Regulus. Pretty cool overall though.
