Trying to start a data base for all Champagne Engraved Marantz Units. List your Model and serial number. Photo's would be best but not necessary. Thanks

what model(s) are you inquiring about. I have been researching the 2270 only for 7 years. Info has been posted on here for awhile. I still update my information and post from time to time.
It would be good if maybe you did not duplicate my work already done.
As a suggestion many owners do not know difference between silver and champagne engraved units which can really mess up research. I always ask for photo of face plate to verify.

I worked hard to obtain info i accumulated but have no ego in this. Knock yourself out, hope you get good info. How is this not duplicating work with the 2270's???? Seems foolish to duplicate wok but whatever.
However, chill out is insulting. You don't know me..... relaxxxxxxxxx. This is a stereo site not MMA.
I recently bought a champagne engraved 2215 here in Europe. It has a 1972 date stamp and serial number 54370 on the back and two inside the chassis. Strange, I always thought only the first few thousand were like that.
