Marantz Model 18

Picked up a nice model 18 today in trade for 2 pairs of bookshelf speakers.It needs new lamps and some work on the tuner section.Using it as an amp right now.Is it worth doing some upgrades on.cosemetics are almost mint.

Short answer is YES. Make sure you use someone who has the service manual and knows the receiver. It is the size just short of a novel.
