I have been retired from McIntosh 4 two years. In case you didn't know I started in 1997 in the warehouse and they kinda made me area leader of raw material when they were in the building across the street,I had a good resume. It was lots of paper work and the boss didn't like it when I miss counted. LOL Then I saw an opening for Tar potter.Someone was retiring.I jumped into that position,as you know the transformer department is the Heart of McIntosh.I helped in other departments when it was slow,if you ever toured the Mother ship I was the guy that poured the molten tar on the transformers, incapsulating them in the cans.I'm sure I made a few good ones, not fun when I put them in the wrong cans but that,s a whole different post.Any how the new Mc451 looks like the big tube guy from the front, sure looks pretty, can't wait to hear it at Audio classics ??? I wouldn't mind finding a few under the Christmas tree,FUR Sure...
