Miata to Mustang

Hello my Friends, I have cleaned 3kitty's thread of all of the trolling posts by the member who is now locked out of this thread. In cleaning the thread, all posts mentioning the trolling have been also scrubbed. I just want to give kudos to all who rose to 3kitty's defense here, you all are what makes AK great, but please, next time someone starts in with the trolling/personal attacks such as what happened here, please just hit the report button so it can be nipped in the bud pronto.

Thank You all and I wish 3kitty the utmost best with your beautiful Mustang

Thank-you for the well-wishes and for defending those who are unjustifiably and inaccurately misrepresented.
I was not even aware of the Report button …. must have glanced by it of course ….. but just not really known its purpose.

Plus I am fairly adept at defending myself …. been attacked a fair bit in my vocation - came with the territory

But I too am grateful both for stand up AK members who have each others backs….and for a moderating staff that facilitates fairness and respect.

I wouldn't own a garage queen because I would not drive it nearly as much as I would want to.
Yep. When I bought a Lincoln MK VII, my friend went with me to pick it up. He called his wife to ask what she wanted us to pick up for supper, turned to me and said "Will this car go to Wendy's?" and I said "It'll have to learn!" I've been fortunate to afford the nice cars I've wanted over the years, but they have always been daily drivers so I can spend max time in them.

Enjoy your Mustang!

Great story ..... I will adapt its essence with this car.

Thx…..you’re welcome to come by and we’ll go for a rip and grab a bite somewhere :beerchug:
….. if ever in Central Canada
Thank you sir. It would be pleasure. Of course you might be encouraged to romp on it a time or two. Old habits never completely go away and the car invites it. That car is made to order.

They do not…..and I can assure you at the right place and the right time (and very safely) I will romp on that peddle just to remind the car it’s still alive and well

She wants to pull that’s for sure
But it’s not unwieldy or anything

Very refined

Gas peddle is smooth

Very nice ride …. handles our crappy roads well

And as described ……. Very very well cared for

Was a very positive buying experience from a lovely chap who was patient…..forthcoming…..etc
Remember this was bought sight unseen from a distance

4 days……and our minty accident free GT is no more

A distracted 18 yr old kid barrelled into my wife and I from behind … I saw him for a brief moment in my rear view mirror but had no time to get outta the way…..his was just coming up too fast

His car was un-drivable ….. as you can see.

We were not far from home so slowly made our way there…..pulled up onto our driveway and the muffler fell to the ground.
I‘m worried about the frame….car pulled to the right on the drive home.
Time will tell

Oh well……such is life!
But I am bummed
