I have a pair of original Mission 700's, and although I don't get to use them much I always liked them a lot. So yeah, I'm a fan.

I've got Energy, Paradigm, KLH, Dynaco and Optimus 5B's in the house, but my main system is connected to a pair of Mission 770S's.

I was sold a Mission subwoofer by a salesman at Audio Classics when I made the big move from 2.0 to 5.1 and couldn't afford all McIntosh; the components were cheap so I gutted the amp and driver and made it passive with a McIntosh 10" car subwoofer now, so at this point I'm a fan - the cabinet is ok.
Don't have Mission speakers, but I remember from when I lived in Sarnia, Ontario in the early 80s that one of the hifi shops in town carried Mission, and they did sound quite nice. I do have a Mission IsoPlat turntable platform and an IsoMat turntable platter mat though. I've used them for so long that I don't know what my system sounds like without them. Too lazy to do an A/B test.
I have small m30i bookshelf speakers connected to my Marantz receiver. They are sweet sounding speakers. For a while I had Mirage 390is but liked Mission a lot better. But my Marantz is 15W per channel so I guess it pairs better with small Mission than bigger Mirage.

I have absolutely no idea. I got mine in the early 80s, and the material doesn't seem to have degraded at all. It's this weird, sticky, really dense material. Reminds me of silicone (sorbothane it turns out). When I got the IsoMat, I recall learning (I'm not sure if this was from reading on the packaging or because, as a 19-year old kid I was buying what the sales guy was saying hook, line, and sinker, listening to the sales guy) that if you were to coat a submarine with this stuff that you'd make it invisible to sonar as the rubber would absorb all the sound waves coming its way.
It's a line of BS, I know, but I always thought it was cool. I'd google it, though, to see what you find.

I had a pair of 700 or 701s that underwhelmed me with their build qulity, with among other things a rattling baffle and coming apart at the corners. They sound OK good sound stage but made brass instruments sound like synthesizer IMO. OTOH I have seen photos of some nice looking Missions, and many here who's opinions I respect seem to like them well so maybe I just go lemons, shrug.
Anyway my advice would be to look at them carefully and listen to them and see if you like them, just giving my experience and no disrespect meant, etc.
