I always wondered who Zilch really was and it is very interesting to Google his real name and learn more about his company Isokinetics, Inc.

I'm sad to hear about the news.
Zilch was a huge contributor to our forum and a great guy in general.

OMG....I didn't know. I always loved reading his posts and thought to myself a few weeks ago...where is Zilch? This site as well as others will truly miss him.

Big Thankyou Zilch

I just found out today, really sad news. It was less then a year ago that He helped me with the big Altec 802's, and the crossovers, right from scratch, and was always there from the start to the finish.
I felt that not only was he a pro in loud speakers design, but he could also feel what I really wanted the speaker to do, in the type of classical music I listen to.

He knows the customer, He knows the music, and that makes him a pro.

As a tribute, I will be turning up those big Atec's tonight, as that is the only way, I can express my sadness and also to say a big thankyou in a job well done.

Rest in peace Zilch.

This sad news is something I'd not heard, and I'm very sorry to have heard it today. I never got to meet him, but Zilch was one of a kind, in many ways, and his passing will leave a huge hole for those that love their Legacy speaker systems. May he find peace, comfort, and happiness, and may his family do likewise. Thanks to all who have passed along the situation, and my Zilch rest in eternal peace. God Bless him, and all others like him.

Dang. I've been busy the last few weeks and not been online much, so I just found out about the bad news. I suspect Zilch would have liked where I was going with the Altec Valencias I've been building for my brother. RIP and smooth sailing.
