Onkyo M-510 Grand Integra Parts...

looking for the power supply board for my M510...
please advise is you know of any place to buy this part (used i guess)

it can be 100volt or 230volt

I get a 0 ohm resistense on the mail transformer, tonight i will know for sure wich one is burned but my guess is that i will need the complete set...

You're not going to find new replacement parts for an amp more than 10 years old. Keep an eye on the auction site for someone parting one out. Or if it's the transformer you might find someone who can rewind it. But in either case, you should find out why the transformer blew and fix that problem, so it doesn't happen again if you find a replacement.

Back up a little bit. What is or was the problem? Is this the primary or secondary side of the transformer? A normal primary winding will look almost like zero ohms.

I don't think you're going to find any parts for an M510, period.
If a transformer really is bad it would be worth looking into getting the original rewound. Likely will be a lot easier than finding a replacement.

+1 on rewinding the transformer, then re-do the power supply boards. All of the caps, etc. and the main relays have to be replaced. This isn’t the first time I’ve read about power transformer issues, which may stem from old, out of spec parts. I’ve had one before with bad power supply board parts, and it popped at full power, and went into protection constantly. That has to be a drag on the other parts.

You don't need a power supply board if the transformer is shorted. This amp has 2 transformers, one for each channel. If you are measuring 0 Ohms on the primary, as has been said, it's probably ok, but you can disconnect one transformer primary and see if they both measure the same.

the guy who is selling the unit is in canada and only wants cash! im in Israel....i have offered him arrange pick up and pay via paypal wester or money transfer but still...
maybe it is stolen???

The chances you could work something out with an AK member and of course go over
that members liability regarding the item in question I would think it likely.

Some sort of gratuity would be resonable.

Post an inquiry to find a person in the vicinity of the item to take the process on.

Problem will be, it will cost $300 to get one rewound or more. Which likely exceeds the used value of the Grand Integra.

Thanks for pointing that out. But finding a parts donor unit with a good transformer would still be the best option. Because Onkyo likely doesn't have parts for this. It's a good amplifier and worth repairing if that or little more is all that's wrong.

Hi, I am looking to buy the two front VU meter glasses for Onkio M510 power AMP? Any help will be appreciated!

If actually glass find a glass supplier and have them cut to size and closest thickness
and move to the next project.
