Post a Picture of your Tape Deck - Decks

BIC T-4M. It had to have major surgery to change the belt. Had to do it twice in a year as the first replacement belt failed.

I see many mentions of Rabbi Rich on this site. I'm assuming he is a well respected restorer of reel to reel equipment. Living way down here in Sydney Australia, he probably wouldn't be much help to me, but if there is anyone here who knows of an expert here in Sydney, could you please let me know.
Cheers from Tim.

Here's a couple I have. They both sound very good!

This TEAC A-1500U just passed through the basement very briefly this month. I just gave it to one of the local (well, VT) tube gurus. It is barely functional but looks well worthy of restoration, with the smoked dust cover and the original power cord...

I grabbed a few photos before it headed out yesterday.

Nakamichi and Crown

Here are mine....the Nakamichi Dragon isn't working, :tears: and the Crown SX-724 has issues as well, though a new drive belt may take care of its biggest problem. The Dragon however, will be a costly affair, I'm sure.

I can't seem to part with either one of them..........

I hope to someday get them both back up to snuff, but right now I have far more serious financial priorities.

Pete

I've owned a Yamaha K-1000 (still have it, but someone beat it up); a Teac X-2000R, Pioneer RT-707 (with new heads), a Teac X-700R; a Nak Dragon; a Nak 680-ZX (sold back to its original owner as I felt it was right); a Yamaha K-1020 (doesn't hold a candle to the 1000 or 2000, imho, but is still respectable); and now own a very nice condition Yamaha K-2000; a deck I've wanted since I was in college, and could never afford at the time. All nice units.

Okay, not a great picture of the 2000 sitting on top of a Yammy CD-1 (posted elsewhere), but it gets the job done.

I'd pay to get that Dragon working if you sell it to me:music: ...I'd consider trading my Sony TCWR97ES...ES line allegedly made in conjunction with Nak....
