There is a new addition to the family, a Rega P1. I'm just trying to decide where it should go... I have to be honest, I was a little disappointed in the construction at first. It looks kinda cheap, plastic hinges and the platter made out of wood. But damn does it sound good!I'm noticing details I haven't heard before on my other tables. Even heard differences between a 30 year old copy of Hotel California & the cd, and like the LP... more depth and just sounds better.

Bang & Olufsen Beogram 1700 with the MMC 20CL cartridge.
Flawless performer for me since 1982. Love this deck.
Hey pmsummer, have you ever heard any of the Soundsmith replacement cartridges?

Elac Miracord 50H Studio 3100 waiting for its Grado 78E (and speed control lever repair...)
No offense to anybody, but those wood / wood veneer TT's are THE most beautiful pieces out there !
My Sony TTS-3000 with PUA286 tonearm. A large turntable!
Hmm, I wonder what the effective mass of the tonearm on that Puritan is.
I've posted pictures of my beloved turntables before, but I just took a few new ones, so here they are.
Thorens TD125 MKII w/Benz MC20E2 cartridge
Pro-Ject RM-5 w/Dynavector 10X5 cartridge
Both of them sound fantastic!
That looks to be a TD160 type tone arm on your TD 125. Is it manual cuing by the headshell only? Also is that a tube damper on the arm, and your sonic thoughts on it.
Both tables look good!
