95% of everything Pontiac has made since ~1989. It's like they told the designers to make everything look like a cheap jetski ate a fat-ass American car.

I agree, those are really ungly....

...And I always thought the 1981-84 Imperial carried it off a LOT better than the Cad did...

Definitely, Sandy. Always thought that was a fine looking car.

Btw, I remember reading in a book on Chrysler once about how the designers of the Imperial nigh onto s#%t themselves when they saw the design of the Seville. They figured it was their own brilliant idea!

Yeah, an' they basically told the Bean Counters to go Screw Themselves, they were gonna make the BEST car they knew how...Too bad it didn't sell that well.

Apparently, the fuel injection system was great, when it worked well. The problem was more with the technicians working on it not knowing what they were doing, rather than just the system itself. Very smooth, if not strong, with astonishing gas mileage for the time.

Early '60's Ford Taunus (Germany) always made me wonder what the Germans were smoking:

That Packard Baker looks like some one stepped on a catfish/flounder! Yecch!

But for '50s cars, I guess you had to be there.

The "Chinese Eyed" Lincolns of 1958-60 were pretty dreadful...But from them sprung the elegant 1961-69 "Suicide Door" models.

I kinda liked those. Had a metallic blue 1/24 scale model of one when I was a kid. At the time I thought my dad should get rid of his '55 Cadillac and buy a Lincoln. He drove that '55 until 1968. Quite a sight. He also had a '50 Studebaker the first family car I remember. He almost got killed in that when he totalled it in 1953 but that's a whole 'nuther story. I remember in the late '50s-60s they used the chrome nose cone from those Studebakers on some rocket kiddie rides that were in front of grocery stores.

Not only does it look like a zombie, it is a zombie!

And it's ass is so fat that you have to worry about what your friends would think, and whether or not it will take out the light pole when you're "turning".
