Beautiful unit. I wish you could elaborate on the procedure of aligning the FM section for us.

I just followed the procedure that is in the 2275 maintenance manual.

Newly acquired 2240 and a pair of Marantz Imperial 5-Gs.

The 2240 had the original box, styrofoam packing material, manual and the plastic faceplate protector.

Happy to have this one in my collection!

It had been powered up just a few times in the last 40 years so I had it cleaned and serviced professionally last year... it's now being used daily.

Thx @rBuckner . Nothing else to do. Spring is commin on full loaded, garden is wifes domain, lawn is like in the golf club, pool cleaned as well.
Testing some Flac&MQA on Tidal since they let them free, so falling in to the mood listening&looking at the equipment...

Marantz 2275 recapped and sounding lovely. Built a new cabinet to show it off and keep the audio footprint tight in my townhouse. The face plate has a few blemishes, might try out a black replacement in the near future. Enjoyed listening to this in the garage on my Yamaha NS 690’s that I picked up a few months ago for $70 from an estate sale while I was building the cabinet. Now I’ve got to find another Marantz for the garage…

Very nice and glad to see these classic receivers are being rebuilt to last another 50 years. I've recapped my 2270 and will do my 2250b as a winter project.

My 100% original 2270 sounds perfect to me. Warm and tube like. I’m sure it could use a recap, but I don’t want to lose any of its sweet sound.

Yes my 2250b is all original too. It sounds much warmer than the recapped 2270. I've worried about this issue alot. But it needs to be done.
