I saw that Carlin show, purely by accident. It was great. I had never seen that really early footage of him all clean cut in a suit!
 
Well, when we're so hungrey we could eat a horse and then we're "stuffed" afterwards here in the US takes on a totally different meaning to people in other countries.. Bet that would give modge a giggle..

My father used to always state when talking about financial matters:

"Figures don't lie-but liars figure"! Very appropriate in todays world.

His other saying when someone walked in that was well dressed:

"You look sharper than a bears a@@ in huckleberry season"! We never were quite sure how he meant it but assumed it was a compliment.

With so much going on these days, I just thought about this one & thought I would post it. I always include in my email ministry lessons a plea to be an encourager not a discourager.

If you see someone with their head hanging low, try to do or say something to pick their spirits up.
