Ok, tell me if I read it right, that putting the JICO V15xMR SAS in the M97xE is no different that putting in the JICO M97xE SAS replacement in the M97xE, except for the color?

And, that Michael just happened to get a better variant of the V15xMR SAS that made it sound better than the M97xE SAS?

Yes, both are the same according to JICO.

David will probably jump in here but, in the meantime................

I recall that David said as much but not Michael. Perhaps I missed it. David has both the VN5xSAS and the N97xSAS and praised both but slightly preferred the resonance characteristics of the VN5xSAS. It's quite possible that a different pair of exemplars would yield different results.

(He also made me glad that my V15 is a Type IV for when it becomes SAS Time.)
