Three-Way Horn System w/ PRV D2200Ph Midrange & ZXPC 18x10 Horn

Well all this pales in comparison to your health. Get well & healthy. I have been trying to change my eating habits to avert health problems, but it is soooo hard to change your ways.

No health issues yet. I don't have to take cholesterol or blood pressure medication for my age. I only take vitamins and supplements. Got my fingers crossed.
I did same thing, but being a Pro couch potato and exercise procrastinator with high blood pressure didn't help. Thanks for the good vibes.

Yes, but I had a mild heart attack Tuesday night (the Third on 3 days in a row). So I just got released from Hospital on Sat after angioplasty/stent in the "widow maker artery" on Friday.

Quick change of priorities, but I'm fine. Drove myself there and back. I do have 3 great kids who were awesome during the 4 day stay.
Sorry to hear of your illness. Best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery.

You guys had me curious to see what was around the Philadelphia area… no FH1 or SP-1s, but plenty of SP-2s available. Casting a wider net, I found these Cerwin Vega AST bins:

and these unnamed cabs:

Even if I could make them pretty, which is completely within my skill set, they’d never get past WAF and my condo board would have fits. If I was younger, single and not living in the inner city, I’d likely try playing with them.

Got a pair of B-52 bass horns with blown 18" Cerwin Vega Drivers that are similar to those in the top photo. My reconer dude sez one of the drivers is done, so it will be fun to put it back in and measure. It's basically an Offset driver horn with a full driver throat volume with an effective/appox. 8 foot long air path that should be flat to 35-40 Hz. and flat to 30 with a little bit of EQ. Mine will be butted together to increase the mouth size with floor relections kicking in as my studio system. Measurements will tell the truth!

I tossed together some quick stands for the Dayton H07E this evening.
Initial thought is that they sound very good, better than the APT-150 horn I was using before.View attachment 2813684
I just cleaned up my "stack" over the weekend. The black paint covers a multitude of sins until I can refinish them. I'm horrible when it comes to final finish... once I get them sounding good, I'm lazy about cosmetics.

I took out the K400 & K77 to maximize the top space for the port mod.

My kids gave me a ton of grief over the unfinished tweeter stands.
I was trying to tell them, and myself, that these are temporary.

This is my eternal struggle. My day job is doing very high end residential remodeling. Once I get to the final details, I’ve mentally checked out and just want to end the job. I can’t do that at work, but there’s nobody holding my feet to the fire with my hobbies- once I get something operational, I’m already mentally moving on to the next project. It’s a problem.

Very efficient use of all the cubic feet you are working with. Kudos Royale!

Adding more Air Volume is what Roy did in the new Jubilee. No sense in fighting physics, like the High Distortion Direct Radiator Crowd of Malpractioner Lemmings out there!

Since PWK always maintained that "the Midrage is where we live," getting the distortion as low as possible was/is the goal. I'm sure this sounds terrific!
