Using Technics SL1200mk 2 hinges on SL1700mk2

So I currently own a sl1700mk2 im trying to install some missing peices. I already know sl1200mk2 dust covers work. Can I use a sl1200 mk2's hinges on the back of a sl1700 mk2 unit? Thanks in advance1

I am pretty sure you can, but you may need to change the hinges also.

Hrmm, I guess Ill just have to take a gamble and buy a whole set.

I'm 95% certain that I installed the SL-1200Mk2 dustcover on my SL-1700Mk2 using the hinges from the 1700. It has been long enough ago that I cannot be sure.

I don't think I made enough sense in my first post. Sorry, it's a bit of a pickle to explain.

My SL1700 MK2 has no hinges at the moment.The back is empty. All it has is the drilled holes for the hinges. Can I use a SL 1200 MK2 hinge-set on the back of the SL-1700 MK2?:thmbsp:

I think worst case you'll have to drill new holes if the hinge spacing is off, but the cover should fit the table.
